Senior Consultant Geoinformatics (m/f)

Reponsibilities

  • Independent support for our clients in the conception, application and optimising of GIS solutions.
  • Carrying out requirement analysis and elaboration of requirement specifications as well as electronic data processing concepts for GIS solutions.
  • Dealing with client-specific tasks as project manager, business analyst or solution architect.
  • Continuous updating and expansion of our customer portfolio within the domain assigned to you. Preparation of offering services in connection with the marketing of our advisory services.
  • Successful development and expansion of our business segment. Project leading with budget and team-responsibility.

Profile

  • Graduation from a German or foreign institution of higher education (University level) with a grade above average, preferably in Geoinformatics or related fields.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in consulting of GIS solutions as project manager, business analyst or solution architect (e.g. Prince, ARIS, SCRUM etc.).
  • Nachgewiesenes Expertenwissen in der Implementierung von kommerziellen oder quelloffenen Geoinformationssystemen (z.B. ESRI ArcGIS Server-, Desktop und Webtechnologien, QGIS, UMN, OpenLayers, etc.).Top-notch analytical and expert skills in the implementation of commercial or open source GIS (e.g. ESRI, ArcGIS server, desktop and web technologies, QGIS, UMN, OpenLayers, etc.).
  • Experience in the integration of GIS solutions in enterprise IT platforms (SOA, web services, OGC standards and their connection to enterprise business applications (SAP, SharePoint etc.) as well as knowledge of general standards for IT processes and architectures (ITIL, EAM, TOGAF).
  • Proven expertise for business processes as well as an established network of contact in one of the following industries: energy supply, telecommunication, public administration (surveying and cadastre).
  • Outstanding communication abilities as well as competent and professional appearance.
  • 100 percent customer orientation and willingness to travel.
